Program Manager - Data Archival needed for a contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Van Buren, MI
The Big Picture:
In this role, you will be part of the ERP Initiatives & Strategy groups Data COE accelerating efforts across Client related to ERP Simplification. You will be responsible for the overall strategy, management and daily operations of the data archival capability. You will partner with the ERP data COE solution delivery leaders providing technical expertise, capability support, and capacity planning.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Define and create a company wide data archival strategy and capability supporting structured and unstructured data for application retirement as well as live archival
- Deliver a data archival solution supporting all geographies and regulatory requirements
- Deliver and maintain a secure and accessible data archival solution
- Responsible for creation and management of a data archival SOP for re-usability and efficiency
- Identify opportunities for data archival acceleration and cost reductions, ie: Cloud
- Partner with SW COE to identify opportunities for collaboration
- Identify and lead NPI/NTI POC's
- Works with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to define and plan data archival capability enhancements
- Ensures compliance with specific business and corporate project management processes
- Ensure conformance to system architecture, standards and best practices
- Ensure both local and global data retention requirements are met by partnering with the localization COE
- Develop growth and capacity plans in support of project pipeline
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors in support of ERP simplification projects both locally and globally
- Proactively identify corrective actions to address project delays & risks identified
- Provide direction & leadership to technical team resources
- Participate and/or lead planning efforts (Blueprints, Growth Playbooks, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to expand or reuse the data archival capability solving other data management challenges.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical/IT field,
- Minimum five (5) years of IT experience in shaping and executing data management strategies
- Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability to develop effective business partner and stakeholder relationships
- Previous experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Big Data, or Pivotal
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in data archival
- Experience building COE or shared service organizations
- Strong business acumen and IT leadership experience
- Clear & confident communicator. Able to articulate technical concepts in non-technical terms
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Resourceful and quick learner; able to efficiently seek out, learn, & apply new areas of expertise as needed
- Highly self-motivated, able to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute IT projects and assist Functional clients in planning initiatives. Also coordinate between Infrastructure team members for project related tasks
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills to bring differing needs and viewpoints together to align with a longer term business and IT strategy related to business intelligence
- Experience leading data quality and conversion projects
- Black belt or Lean certified
- PMP certified
- Actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways
- Six-Sigma/PMI Certification
- CAS or ITLP graduate
